I am a Lighting Cameraman based in the Westcountry, and I have over 20 years of professional experience. Over the past two decades I have worked on a wide range of broadcast, corporate and online filming projects. My portfolio includes Documentaries, ‘Behind The Scenes’ EPKs, Promos, Live music, Sports coverage, Events and News.
I started freelancing in the year 2000, and my filming work has taken me around the UK and abroad. Among numerous projects, I’ve worked with clients including Visa, Barclays and Kia, and covered events including the Venice Film Festival and Geneva and Paris Motor Shows.
As well as abroad, I’ve worked as a Lighting Cameraman in London, around the UK and back in the Westcountry. I’ve documented Feature Film productions at all of the major London Film studios, including Pinewood, Leavesden, Shepperton and Longcross. As a solo Cameraman and as part of multi-camera units, I have worked on numerous live sport and music events. These events include: Wimbledon, the ATP World Tour Finals, Champions League Football and the Capital Summertime and Jingle Bell Balls.
I have worked on wide variety of projects around the UK. I’ve filmed news pieces at the Northern Ireland Assembly, Belfast. I covered the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Edinburgh in 2010. Also in 2010, I filmed the opening of the Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor, Wales.
Closer to home in the Westcountry, I have filmed for BBC’s ‘Homes Under The Hammer’ and Channel 5’s ‘The Railway’. As well as filming for broadcast, I have shot promotional content for numerous local businesses.
